We are always on the road.
Like snails..We carry our homes on our back.
And so we three friends became a family.
Not only because it´s the purest and healthiest friendship
but together we´ve grown our own super powers that we bring into the family.
We been through so many ups and downs together.
It feels like we been doing this for ages…But no, we live our life in double speed and the only ones understanding what we are going through is us three.

Our favorite Windish crew
We were at SXSW in Texas a couple of weeks ago and it was sooo amazing. We were working our asses off and played a lot of great shows. We even managed to blow out the sound system at one of our shows and couldn’t go through with the show… sorry! A lot of work and a lot of fun, the best combination.

Just came back to Stockholm.
A trip that was suppose to be 4 days in sweden ended up over the atlantic sea and whaooo 2 weeks later…Back in Stockholm
A pit stop in LA for 48 hours and then back to stockholm.
Last week we flew everyday. I am a little bit afraid of flying…Isn´t that kind of Ironic.. And we almost spend the same amount of time up in the air as we do on the ground.
Just have to thank the crazy parties keeping us wake a little bit too long lately. But we ´ve been having a lot of reasons to celebrate.

Watching some pictures from this past month.
Miami, Austin Texas, LA, Stockholm, Berlin, Münich, Frankfurt, Milan, Wien, NYC…No wonder why I can’t recall what we were up to last week. Our camera is right now our memory and our suitcase like always is our home. 22 kg is not that much to hold on to but I promise that it´s worth it.

LA you are starting to feel like home.
It´s strange how our hotel room is starting to feel like our home. Our neighbors are the lovely cleaning lady that comes every morning and also the people in the reception, our gym is the mountains, and our kitchen is the Mexican food place just around the corner.

Things are finally falling into place.
Sitting at The standard Hotel in west Hollywood. Just came home from a lovely writing session together with Coco Morier and just now enjoying a glass of wine together with my other half of Icona and the best Keith in the world.
Life is very good today. Enjoying every step I take. Just watching pictures from last week and starting to realize what we been up to the last 2 weeks. Things are finally catching up with me.
I´m smiling at myself and looking at my best friend sitting beside me. 3 years ago we where sitting in a sofa in central Stockholm with a bottle of wine spitting out our heartaches. That´s where Icona & Pop was born. Still I got heart ache and guess that´s a part of life…But at least I´m not afraid. I know that I always got my best friend to fall back to.
We started like two souls without a home. One heartbroken, yearning to be placed somewhere safe….
One that was constantly searching for something that she didn´t have..
..We still don´t have a home but i guess Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros said it so right,,,”home is wherever i´m with you”

Home sweet home
..
Just came home from a tour. One of Our last summer Festival gigs in sweden for this year.
And I ask myself “WHATTTAFCK, is summer soon over..Didn´t even notice it was here”
I say that every year..And every year I promise myself that i´m gonna make it to my best summer so far.
(you would be stupid if you would´t haha)
well I definitely have to say that it has so far been a MEIHAM summer in a good way.
Just found myself on a festival two days ago drinking my morning coffee beside Pattie Smith.
Just felt a rush of love and energy floating through me and
I just looked up and nodded at her polite and thought for myself
“hmmm this has absolutely been my best summer so far”.
